of the population is visually impaired, with 144,000 people completely blind.
Many visually impaired individuals
come from disadvantaged backgrounds, facing limited access to higher education and learning space customized to their educational needs and employment opportunities.

Our livelihood program teaches
sustainable farming and animal husbandry, while our unique "learning by doing" initiative places blind students in family homes to gain real-world skills.
