Agriculture and Animal husbandry

At MULIA Foundation, we believe everyone should have the chance to learn and grow! Our Community-Based Livelihood Program helps families learn how to grow their own food through gardening and raise animals like chickens. We teach them simple and practical skills using resources that are already in their community.

We also have a special program for our blind students! They get to practice their skills in real family homes, which helps them connect with the community and learn how to earn a living. We call this 'learning by doing!'

We give families the tools they need to succeed, like seeds, farming equipment, and even animals through our 'gift circles.' Our students get to use these homes as places to practice what they learn in their inclusive education classes, making sure they're ready for the future.

Educational Saving Scheme

Imagine you're saving up for something really cool, like a new toy or a fun trip! At MULIA Foundation, we help kids and their parents save money for school. It's like a special piggy bank just for learning!

Every week, kids and their parents put a little bit of money into their school savings account. This money helps pay for things like school books, uniforms, and tuition for the next school year. And guess what? MULIA Foundation adds even more money to their savings! It's like a bonus for working hard to save!

You can help a child save for their education too! It's like being a super-helper! You can join our sponsorship plan and help a child save a little bit each week.

Youth Led Club

Back in 2014, MULIA started helping kids, and they helped a lot! Over 100 children, from little ones to almost teenagers, got to learn and grow with MULIA. And guess what? Those kids grew up! They became amazing young people.

Now that they're older, MULIA wanted to keep helping them become responsible and awesome. So, they decided to start a special club just for them, a Youth Led Club, where they could learn cool things and become leaders.

MULIA knew that Komo Learning Centers was really good at helping young people start clubs, so they asked them for help. They wanted Komo Learning Centers to help them create the Youth Led Club. They also wanted to train the first group of young people to be leaders and even trainers, so they could keep the club going even after Komo Learning Centers helped them get started.

It was a really cool plan, and MULIA was excited to see what amazing things those young people would do. We now run a youth wing to make the club go with help of other partners in play.
